Healthy Cities for Adolescents Editorial Letter

The issue of healthy, liveable cities is critical to the New Urban Agenda (NUA) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially Goal no.11, “Make cities inclusive, resilient, safe and sustainable.” In 2018, an estimated 55.3 percent of the world’s population lived in urban settlements (The World Cities in 2018, United Nations). Today two billion, out of the seven billion people on the planet are below the age of 25.
